I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly! (Felt Board)

How to make: 
1. Chose the colored version or the black and white version of the story. If you choose colored just simply print all the pages. If you choose the black and white, print and color in all the pages. 
2. Cut out all the pieces 
3. Mount all the pieces onto felt. Then cut them out again. 
4. Tell the story. When you get to each part of the story that has a corresponding piece, place it on the felt board. 
5. Store pieces and the story in an envelope or bag.

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.
I don’t know why she swallowed a fly,
I guess she’ll die!

I know an old lady who swallowed a spider
That wriggled and giggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
But I don’t know why she swallowed the fly!
Perhaps she’ll die!

I know an old lady who swallowed a bird,
Now how absurd, to swallow a bird!
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and giggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
But I don’t know why she swallowed the fly!
Perhaps she’ll die!

I know an old lady who swallowed a cat.
Now fancy that, to swallow a cat!
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and giggled and tickled insider her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
